PRANEEL BHELA - Principal
Praneel is our Principal Solicitor and Founder of Impact Legal. With over a decade of experience as a lawyer, he honed his skills overseas in Sweden and India, while pursuing his passion for sustainability. After returning to Australia, his ambitious nature and love of community inspired him to establish Impact Legal, prompted by a desire to create an accessible service for everyone, providing legal expertise through a straightforward, friendly, and supportive approach.
With extensive knowledge of the Queensland property market and legalities, as well as the innate community knowledge from being born and raised in Far North Queensland, Praneel saw an opportunity to create a legal firm specialising in guiding clients through the conveyance process. Praneel’s goal is to make entering the property market easy for everyone, regardless of their experience or understanding.
Praneel is one of the friendly voices you'll chat to when you first reach out, he's always keen to understand your unique situation, and introduce you to the conveyance process. He combines expert advice with genuine kindness and a true interest in the success of each client.
Believing in a healthy work-life balance, Praneel stays busy outside of work by hiking and exploring outdoors (like any true Queenslander). He has climbed the largest mountains in Far North Queensland, Tasmania, and New Zealand, often setting off in the darkness to reach the summit by sunrise.
COOPER GLASS - Conveyancing Manager
Cooper is the Conveyancing Manager at Impact Legal. He looks after the conveyancing team and the day to day running of the office, from keeping files moving to bringing new people into the team and getting them up to speed.
For most clients, Cooper is the voice at the other end of the phone. He keeps your matter on track from contract through to settlement, chases whatever needs chasing, and lets you know where things are up to before you have to ask. He explains each step in plain terms, so you always know what is happening and what comes next.
Behind the scenes, Cooper is the one who keeps everything running to the same standard. He builds the systems, and training the team works from, which is why matters at Impact Legal settle on time and without surprises.
Cooper brings great energy to the team. He enjoys the unusual matters, the ones with a few more moving parts, and takes them on with the same calm, can-do attitude he brings to everything else.
Outside of work, Cooper is usually found socialising or keeping active with friends, or hitting the books and improving his knowledge of all things law as he works towards finishing his degree.
