Praneel Bhela
PRINCIPAL
Praneel is our Principal Solicitor and Founder of Impact Legal. With nearly a decade of experience as a lawyer, he honed his skills overseas in Sweden and India, while pursuing his passion for sustainability. After returning to Australia, his ambitious nature and love of community inspired him to establish Impact Legal.
Praneel is the friendly voice you'll chat to when you first reach out, keen to understand your unique situation, and introduce you to the conveyance process. He combines expert advice with genuine kindness and a true interest in the success of each client.
Believing in a healthy work-life balance, Praneel stays busy outside of work by hiking and exploring outdoors (like any true Queenslander). He has climbed the largest mountains in Far North Queensland, Tasmania, and New Zealand, often setting off in the darkness to reach the summit by sunrise.
Emily Jones
OPERATIONS & STRATEGY LEAD
Emily is the Operations & Strategy Lead at Impact Legal, where she works closely with the team to support the smooth day-to-day running of the practice and the firm’s long-term growth.
With a background in conveyancing, operations, and strategic communications, Emily brings a practical, people-first approach to improving systems, strengthening client experience, and building a workplace where both clients and staff feel supported. As an experienced communications professional working across diverse industries, she has a strong passion for communication, culture, community, and customer service, and is particularly motivated by helping small businesses grow in a way that is sustainable, human, and aligned with their values.
When she’s not at work, Emily is a social butterfly, always bouncing between activities and exploring new places. As a Victorian, she has a deep appreciation for the beauty of Far North Queensland and loves spending time outdoors, soaking up the warmth and nature.
Cooper Glass
CONVEYANCER
Cooper is a Conveyancer at Impact Legal, handling residential conveyances and assisting with commercial and other legal matters as needed. As the day-to-day point of contact for most matters, Cooper is the helpful voice at the other end of the call, ensuring clients always have a direct, reliable person to reach out to throughout their transaction.
Approachable and easy to speak with, Cooper takes the time to explain each step in clear, practical terms so you can feel confident and informed from start to finish. He is known for his proactive communication and his ability to manage the finer details seamlessly from contract through to settlement.
Cooper brings a great energy to the team, finding passion and excitement in unique or complex matters, while still approaching everything with a calm, can-do attitude.
Outside of work, Cooper is usually found socialising or keeping active with friends, or hitting the books and improving his knowledge of all things law as he works towards finishing his degree.
